Why Child Support Reform in Necessary

 I recently saw this post on Facebook and it immediately made my furious beyond belief. Just in case the words are a bit too hard to read the post says this:

“My baby daddy just lost his job 2 months ago, now he cant pay me my child support. So every time he come to see our twin sons (who is 3) I charge him $1.00 per minute. Yep, that’s right I sure do! And What?? This nigga gotta pay me to see his sons. If he want them over night he gotta pay $75. He still be coming to see our boys, but not as often. I feel like he needs to be punished for loosin his job and I want my money regardless. He call his self showin up at my door crying tears cause he miss his sons, talkin about he puttin in apps everday and please let him see his babies. Im like “oh well nigga, you either gonna pay up or miss out”. I don’t give a F**K about his relationship with my sons. My boys don’t need no broke ass daddy. My new boyfriend will teach my babies to be real men, not some cryin ass punk. My question is this:: How do long should I wait before I report his ass for non-payment of child support. I need my damn loot!”

Here you have a father in distress who is still trying to do the best he possibly can for his child yet the mother of the child is using his love for the child against him. Whats worse is in the long run she is hurting the child even more because the child is loosing quality time from a great father. A man loosing his job is not a good enough reason to keep him from his child. At their child stage in life TIME is worth far more then money could ever be. It is literally sickening how she is mistreating her child's father, her child, and misusing the child support system. There are men who are forced to pay child support and either don't or pay and have nothing to do with the child. This woman actually has a great father and the only thing she is concerned with is money and making him suffer.

Not only that, she then has the nerve to say her new man who is probably temporary will teach her son how to be a real man! Her son's father is a real man!  She needs to recognize that and stop playing games or she doesn't deserve to have custody of their child in any form shape or fashion.

This is a calling to all women. If you have children and your child's father doesn't have money but is trying desperately to be a part of your children's life do not be like her. Choose the higher road squash you differences and raise you children right!
